Fear Columbus Haunted House is not recommended for anyone under the age of 13. Anyone under 13 years of age MUST have at least one parent/guardian in the group and follow are rules listed below. Please review all guidelines and restrictions below prior to purchasing a ticket.
We take the safety and wellbeing of all guests, especially children, extremely seriously and reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone with a child in the group for any reason. If we do not think the child will be able to safely navigate the attractions on their own, if the child's behavior is negatively impacting the experience for other guests in any way, or if the child is being forced to attend the event and is visibly not comfortable with this, the group will be asked to leave.
No Carrying
Any children attending with a parent must be able to walk and navigate the attractions on their own. Under no circumstances can a child be held or carried at any point. Fear Columbus is extremely dark, disorienting, and has ramps, varying ceiling and doorway heights, and other overhead obstacles that make carrying a child incredibly dangerous. Anyone carrying a child will be asked to put the child down and leave out the nearest emergency exit without a refund. We take the safety of children extremely seriously and there are no exceptions to this rule.
Leaving During the Attraction
At any point if the child needs to leave, they must use the nearest emergency exit and stay WITH a parent. If there is only one parent in the group then all children under 13 must leave with that parent.
No Refunds
There are no refunds after purchase if for any reason you decide not to bring your child, they decide they don't want to attend, or if they exit while in line or during the attraction.
Different Events Are Different Experiences
Please be aware each event we host changes the atmosphere and intensity level greatly. Do not assume your child can handle
No Babysitting
Children are never permitted to be left alone at any point. Fear Columbus staff is not responsible for watching children at any point. The event gets very busy at times and we can't stress enough that children can not be left unattended at any point.
Minors Signing Waiver
Anyone under the age of 18 will need to have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver before attending. This is all done electronically prior to your arrival so you don't need to be there in person to sign the waiver for a minor.
